FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Garland, TX - June 15, 1998

Maintained by 3D Realms Entertainment and designed by Remedy Entertainment, the official Max Payne web site - www.maxpayne.com - was officially launched today.

To celebrate the official launch of the new Max Payne dedicated site, Remedy Entertainment released the "crowd-puller" E3 video of Max Payne on the new site.

Scott Miller, President of 3D Realms Entertainment, commented: "Thanks to an impressive showing at E3, Max Payne is expected to be one of the top games to look forward to in 1999, and this web site is one of the best spots for fans to get the scoop, latest screen shots and information about why this game stands above others in its genre."

Samuli Syvahuoko, Managing Director of Remedy Entertainment, had this to say: "The new web site will serve as a great source for gamers to get the latest information on Max Payne. We'll be introducing stuff like screen shots, development updates, information about the game's characters and story line, devteam member bios, news links, competitions, etc. But what's truly going to be cool is that we'll give gamers several chances to actually affect the content of the game in some clever never-been-done-before ways. So, check back often so you don't miss out on the action!"

Max Payne is a story-driven third-person 3D action game that revolves around Max Payne, a hardboiled, fugitive undercover cop who is being framed for the murder of his boss. A mission to revenge his slaughtered family and to find and wipe out the source of a new lethal drug is taking him on an action- packed rampage through the criminal underworld of New York City.

Max Payne is being developed by Remedy Entertainment and 3D Realms Entertainment. It will be published in 1999 by the Gathering of Developers.
