The winning entry was submitted by Nathan
Elliott. It was:
As Tom mumbles about his missing Rogaine, Mark begins to pale with nausea and
realizes it wasn't Mylanta he just drank.
Some of the others (in no particular order):
- In an effort to shield himself from harmful 'monitor
radiation', Tom begins constructing his fortress of books - Notice how he protects his
body parts in order of importance! (Jason Lancaric)
- When we last left our dynamic duo, they had just been held
captive by the evil car key gnome. (Michael S. Dean) Tom: "YOU better find those
keys. I refuse to wait for lunch any longer." Mark: "Oh yea sure, like,
they were in my pocket a minute ago."
- In this picture Tom is hard at work searching for his desk
while Mark, the sensitive fellow that he is, shuns his computer for hurting his feelings.
(Mike Zeckel)
- What people do in the Prey Office: The security camera records
their progress while Mark pretends to be a rock star singing to his computer, while Tom
tries to find his punch card to go off-duty. (Greg Erk)
- Tom desperately searches for his Cheech and Chong tape, while
Mark has become hypnotized by the greenness of his monitor. (Chris McMullen)
- Tom has lost his superglue. Mark has found it, somewhat
unintentionally. (Chris McMullen - same Chris McMullen)
- Hey Tom, have you ever just swallowed a whole can of shaving
cream? You know, just downed the sucker? (Matt McDonald)
- Two conflicting clocks! (Dane Brewer)
- As we enter continent Apoggea, we find two lovely examples of
the native wildlife. In the background we see the rare Orderlyis Programerist Codeon. This
is by far one of the rarest of the Apogean wildlife as there is only one yet known,
although many believe more to exist. The more common breed of the Codeon can be seen in
the foreground, the Befuddled Aestheticist Codeon, seen here in it's usual nesting habit.
This breed is often found among piles of meaningless scraps of paper, searching for the
one piece of paper or item that he or she needs only to remember that he or she threw it
away last Monday or, as seen here, already found it in the trash an was keeping the paper
or item in his or her lap. (Ben Golus)
In reality, this Tom Hall & Mark
Dochtermann in the Prey Office.
