The winning entry was submitted by Sean Hannan. It was:

"If you're just joining us, we are at the IBWB (International Bicycle Wheel Bowling) Olympic trials in Dallas, Texas...He put himself in a rough spot...Let's see if he can nail the 7 10 split..."

Some of the others (in no particular order):

  1. Joe Siegler lines up for the 7-10 split with ball in hand. As he does so the, Apogee cycling team wanders into the lane. In a fit of rage, Joe becomes confused and pummels the camera-man to death. (Bryan Kowal)
  2. The camera crashes to the floor as Joe is attacked by the rare and dangerous species Apogeeus Programeris Rabidi, most commonly seen when his or her pay-check is late. (Dr. Fooms)
  3. The camera, having become self-aware, makes a bid for freedom from Joe's office, liberating 3 PCs and a toaster along the way. (Dr. Fooms again)
  4. The two chatting pins were oblivious to the fact that they were being watched from the shadows. The huge bike tire quietly inched towards the helpless pins.... (Sid Shuman)
  5. A screen shot from an early alpha of Apogee Complete gaming, featuring everything from racing to bowling, and such extreme realism that you need to look at the computer chugging to tell that it isn't from TV... There are still major bugs in the 3d engine, and some odd interactions between modules. (James Mastros)
  6. "Why did Joe have to leave me on the floor with the rest of his junk, I'm important, I'm the Camera Captioning Contest Camera!" (Robby Solt)
  7. What we see here ladies and gentlemen is the MOST boring picture ever captured on a video camera. (Octavision)
  8. And now for something completely different... (Frank Jacobs)

In reality, this is Joe Siegler's office with the camera on the floor.
