The winning entry was submitted by Scott Pakin. It was:

My name is Watto.  I looooove to get blotto!

Some of the others (in no particular order):

  1. When Toys Go Bad: Recovering from a 3 day drinking binge, Watto doesn't remember going to the 'Gay GI Joe bash', getting an electronic sex toy implant, or acquiring the 'Mother Hubbard' hat. (Tom Hoelscher)
  2. "Damn my magnetic personality!" (Brendan Murray)
  3. This is apparently what has been clogging the 3D Realms' toilets for the past few years. The plumber is still in therapy. (Steven Trinkl)
  4. "On a side note, I just went back through the past two months of captioning that I missed and after observing Ruben's blank expression while inexplicably holding a coffee pot outside in the rain and coupling that with this recent photo of his office decorations I'm really beginning to wonder if Ruben is a victim of Nyquil abuse if not at least suffering from the ill-effects of a lobotomy gone wrong." (Philip Atkins)
  5. YES! All these and more are available in the Official Watto Accessories Catalog! (Andrew Durdin)
  6. A metaphor for 3DRealms's Duke Nukem Forever design philosophy: "Let's spend way too long adding a bunch of crap to it and then release one picture!" (Don Laursen)
  7. At a wild party on Tanooine, Watto keeps asking the various Jedi if they would "Use the Force" to help get that big busted Bothan out of her clothes. (Duane Shields)
  8. A long time ago, this figure of Watto on Ruben's desk started off with a GI Joe vest which was cool, followed by the Year 2000 party hat and decorations from the same year's Christmas tree which seemed understandable but then came the yellow cocktail umbrella. Take into account additions from subsequent years; like the gargoyle-like creature on his neck and the sinister black "pet rat" with red eyes and you get an insight into the psyche of an artist who has been working on the same game for too damn long. (Gautam Menon)

In reality, this is Ruben Cabrera's Watto figure on top of his desk after being "decorated".
