The winning entry was submitted by Joe Jessen.. It was:

"Uh, Jess, when they said to pack a 'brand, spanking new copy' of Max Payne for each customer, I don't think that's what they had in mind."

Some of the others (in no particular order):

  1. (July 2001) "Can you picture it? Not more than a year from now, we'll be packing Duke Nukem Forever off just like this and finally be done with it! Yesss!" (Gautam Menon)
  2. "Comon Crable, speed it up, you're packing in Bullet Time here" (Scott ???)
  3. Hey Jess, will doing that really grow back hair?" (Daniel Landes)
  4. Keith: "Wow Jess! You really can balance 20 copies of Max Payne there!"
Jess: "That's 50 bucks you owe me, man". (Oliver Stephenson)
  5. "WHOA! Giving that order the 'American Pie' treatment, eh?" (Mike Marino)
  6. "Hey these stack just like Jenga. Watch what happens when I pull the bottom one out." (Michael Cranston)
  7. "I'm not concerned about the mischevious smiles on Keith and Jess, but rather the fact that there is an entire cabinet devoted to honey and peanut butter." (Philip Atkins)
  8. "Hey, these are so heavy, they should be re-labelled Back Payne." (Rob Falconer)

In reality, this is Keith Schuler & Jess Crable packing Max Payne Orders back in July of 2001.  What they're smiling about - who knows?
